The Elephant Park Project
|
Helping Lao elephants have a more meaningful
retirement. The goal of this project is to provide a refuge for
elephants facing an uncertain future after retirement from the logging
industry. Visitors are able to ride the elephants in the
surrounding countryside, bathe with them in the river, learn to care for
elephants with basic “mahout training” and even stay
overnight at the Elephant Lodge waking up with the elephants the next
day. |
