About Tat Kuang Si and the Laos Bears:

30 Km south of Luang Prabang, stunning Tat Kuang Si Park is home to the Free The Bears Rescue Centre. The centre was set up in 2003 and provides a home for a growing number of Asiatic black bears confiscated from poachers and traffickers.  For more details see the Laos Bears section.
